What a wonderful way to celebrate World Book Day! Our students enjoyed a week dedicated to the joy of reading, creativity, and imagination.

We are pleased to share that our first school badminton tournament has been successfully concluded. After several weeks of exciting and highly competitive matches, filled with great sportsmanship and enthusiasm, we are proud to announce this year’s top performers.

This week, our school dedicated time across ICT, Art, and PD/PSHE lessons to explore the important topic of online safety through a variety of engaging projects. One of these was a creative Art initiative that brought learning to life in a unique and imaginative way.

For our Valentine’s art project, we combined creativity and sustainability as students transformed recycled paper into colorful handmade hearts filled with love. Older students explored the theme of love through expressive paintings and drawings, while Year 5 and Year 6 added heartfelt messages and charming illustrations about friendship and kindness.

Our youngest students invited their parents for a heartwarming Valentine’s workshop filled with love laughter, and togetherness.

The Y1 students learnt about our solar system and, together with their parents, created the most magical projects.

In this hands-on art project, students became little eco-artists by turning old, recycled paper collected since the beginning of the school year into brand-new, handmade sheets. For most of them, this was their very first time making paper, and we couldn’t be prouder!

In our cooking class on Friday, January 30, students explored the benefits of natural fiber and learned how ingredients rich in fiber, protein, and healthy fats contribute to a balanced diet.

On January 27, Green School joyfully celebrated Saint Sava’s Day as part of the Serbian language curriculum. This special occasion honored Saint Sava, the founder of Serbian education and a timeless symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and learning.
