As an international school, UN Day holds a special meaning for us. Our classrooms bring together students from many countries and cultures, so the values of the United Nations, such as peace, respect, and cooperation, are part of our everyday life. This day is a chance to celebrate what makes our community so special: our diversity and the friendships that connect us.
During our art lessons, students experimented with colours, shapes, and a variety of materials to express what unity means to them. Their artwork told stories of friendship and togetherness, and it was wonderful to see the creativity and care they put into every detail.
In the classroom, students worked on projects and presented them to their peers. They exchanged ideas, asked thoughtful questions, and learned about new countries, traditions, and cultures from one another. Their presentations showed teamwork, curiosity, and respect for the many ways people live around the world.
