Food brought our whole community to the table. Students shared dishes from their native countries or from the countries they had been learning about, and our snack buffet turned into a delicious journey around the world. There was a wonderful variety of tastes to try, and the fun taste tests sparked plenty of laughter, curiosity, and even a few recipe exchanges.
The excitement continued at our UN Day quiz, held during assembly on the day itself. Students formed teams and put their knowledge to the test, showing everything they had learned about the world. Teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit filled the room, and every team cheered each other on.
We were also delighted to welcome parents into our school. They shared personal stories about their countries, giving our students a real glimpse into life around the world. Our students love it when parents visit, and the excitement was clear on every face. We are so grateful to every parent who took the time to join us!
