Our Easter Day Celebration will bring students together for a joyful day of creativity, fun and egg-citing activities. Younger students will enjoy a festive hat parade, themed crafts, and outdoor games and races, while older students will take part in an exciting Easter egg hunt after their lessons.

Dive into World Water Day with us! Over the coming days, our students will explore the importance of water through hands-on activities, from lake visits and creative water cycle models to building real filtration systems. The highlight will be a special session with our guest speakers, water scientists and engineers. Join us as we learn, create, and celebrate the power of water!

Our school will be celebrating World Sleep Week, with a special focus on World Sleep Day on Friday, March 13. This global initiative raises awareness about the importance of healthy sleep for children’s physical health, emotional well-being, and academic success. This year’s slogan, “Sleep Well, Live Better,” encourages families and schools to make healthy sleep habits a priority for a better quality of life.

We are delighted to mark World Book Day on Thursday, March 5, with an exciting programme of activities taking place throughout the first two weeks of March. Book Week is all about inspiring a love of reading and recognising the power of books to spark imagination, creativity, and lifelong learning. Themed activities across Language, Art, and Music lessons will further immerse students in the joy of reading.

The 100th Day of School is a special milestone that gives us the chance to celebrate how far we’ve come this year. Over the past 100 days, students have grown academically, socially, and personally through hard work, curiosity, and perseverance. On this day, we reflect on the learning, friendships, and growth that continue to shape our school year.

On Thursday, 12 February, our school will celebrate Valentine’s Day! This special day is dedicated to recognising the importance of love, within our families, for ourselves, and toward others, and reflecting on the values that these meaningful relationships bring to our lives. Join us in spreading kindness, appreciation, and heartfelt connections throughout our school community.

Smart Choices for a Safer Internet: Safer Internet Week reminds us of the importance of staying safe, respectful, and responsible online. This week, we learn how to protect our personal information, spot fake news, and treat others kindly online. By making smart choices online, we can help create a safer and more positive digital world for everyone.

On January 27th, Green School is celebrating Saint Sava's Day, honoring the founder of Serbian education. Students explored cultural heritage through fresco-style portraits and Cyrillic calligraphy, combining creativity and tradition. Their artworks have become part of the school exhibition and festive program, reflecting our commitment to joyful learning and tradition.

To kick off the second term after winter break, our students will be heading to the open-air ice-skating rink in Ada for some fun ice-skating sessions. This will be a great opportunity for students to reconnect with friends and teachers, share laughs, and start the second term feeling refreshed and motivated. We’re excited to see everyone back, and ready for a fresh start.

As we approach the holiday season, we would like to wish all our students and their families a restful and joyful winter break. May this time be filled with relaxation, festive cheer, and wonderful moments with friends and family. We will be ready to welcome everyone back on January 12, refreshed and ready for an exciting new term!

Join us for our Christmas Concert, a festive celebration of music, creativity, and community! Our students are busily preparing a beautiful programme featuring Christmas carols, instrumental solos, seasonal melodies and poetry recitations to help us all welcome the holiday spirit. Parents and families are warmly invited to enjoy the performances and share in the festivities.

Next week, our school will be taking part in Anti-Bullying Week, a special opportunity for students to learn about empathy, teamwork, and the importance of creating a safe, supportive school environment. Throughout the week, students will engage in a variety of meaningful and creative activities designed to promote kindness and understanding.
