In this hands-on art project, students became little eco-artists by turning old, recycled paper collected since the beginning of the school year into brand-new, handmade sheets. For most of them, this was their very first time making paper, and we couldn’t be prouder!

We mixed, poured, pressed, and waited patiently, discovering just how much fun sustainability can be. Using natural, eco-friendly pigments, students explored color in a whole new way and traveled back in time to learn about Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, creating symbols and stories inspired by one of the world’s oldest civilizations.

This playful project brought together art, history, teamwork, and environmental awareness.
