What a wonderful way to celebrate World Book Day! Our students enjoyed a week dedicated to the joy of reading, creativity, and imagination. The highlight of the celebration was our special assembly, where students took part in an exciting Book Trivia Quiz, proudly presented their year-group stories, and we announced and celebrated the winners of our essay competition.
Of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without our amazing character costumes. A lot of our students arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing many beloved stories to life around the school. From the Read-a-Thon to the Extreme Reading Challenge, it was inspiring to see our community come together to celebrate the power of books and the magic of reading.
